Taking place at Malibu Surfrider Beach, one of the world’s most iconic breaks in the history of longboard surfing, The Jeep Malibu Classic presented by Havaianas crowned the WSL Longboard World Champions. 

Working with WSL’s creative leadership, I developed a visual identity for the event with the goal of embodying the timeless, laid back feel of Malibu while celebrating the unique style and tradition of longboard surfing. Looking to 1960s beach fashion, horizontal stripes were a natural balance to hand-crafted type and movement within the photos.

The annual US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, CA is the world’s largest surf competition and beach festival of action sports brands. I’ve had the chance to create various assets for the World Surf League for this event in 2022 and 2023, including invitations, event signage, backdrops, menus, presentation decks, and apparel designs.

World Surf Weekly brings top global surf stories, clips and guest interviews to the surf community. Working under WSL’s creative direction I designed the brand identity, key art/studio backdrop, supporting marks and lower thirds for the show.


Wellness Weekly | Visual Identity Design

The WSL Championship Tour was canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19. I had the chance to design the visual identity for WSL Wellness Weekly, which was a show that helped keep surf fans engaged in the interim by sharing pro surfers’ favorite at-home workouts, healthy recipes and wellness tips.
